How do I eat for fat loss?
Be in a calorie deficit. AKA eat less than you burn. On a typical day, the “ average” person burns 2,000 calories. This is different for everyone!
Spread your meals out. Have good filling meals.
Less fat. Sorry PB lovers.
Limit alcohol.
Drink yo water!
Track and weigh foods. This gives you a better understanding of calorie values!
Listen to your body! Rest when needed.
How do I eat for lean body mass?
Be intentional with your training.
Eat four to six meals per day. More is good for you when you want to build muscle.
Spread protein throughout the day.
Remember It takes more than just protein to increase lean body mass, so don’t forget about carbs and fat!
You can do all these things but remember it’s going to take time. Focus on little things and be patient with the process.
TRACK, TRACK, TRACK your progress. Take pictures, measurements every four weeks so you can tweak your macros, training program etc.
